One person was killed early Sunday following a harrowing collision at the corner of Utica Avenue and Avenue D in East Flatbush.
Police said that a 1993 Honda was traveling eastbound along Avenue D when it was struck by a 2000 Nissan traveling southbound on Utica Avenue.
When police arrived, at least one of the motorists was found trapped in his vehicle.
Both motorists were rushed to Kings County Hospital where the driver of the Honda, 20, died of his injuries. The 18-year-old man driving the Nissan was listed in stable condition.
No arrests had been made as this paper went to press. The matter was still under investigation.
