Pistol-whipped
Cops arrested a 26-year-old who they said pistol-whipped a man during an Oct. 25 fracas on Stillwell Avenue.
The victim and the alleged assailant were arguing inside an apartment near Harway Avenue at 1:20 pm when the suspect pulled his gun and attacked.
Cops caught up with the 26-year-old suspect this week, charging him with assault and attempted robbery.
Slashing bust
A 31-year-old was arrested on Nov. 5 in connection with an Oct. 18 slashing on Mermaid Avenue.
Witnesses said the suspect attacked his victim between W. 16th and W. 17th streets at 3:30 am, leaving him with a deep cut.
Five on one
Cops rounded up the last of five suspects who they say attacked a teenage girl on W. 23rd Street on Nov. 1.
The victim told cops that the suspects, two boys and three girls, jumped her between Surf and Mermaid avenues at 7:25 pm. Each one allegedly punched their victim about the body, leaving her with a smattering of injuries.
Cops quickly arrested the suspects, netting the last one on the morning of Nov. 2.
Wrong building
Police arrested a 55-year-old man who they say was trespassing inside a W. 21st Street building — and had drugs and a stolen credit card on him.
Cops from the 60th Precinct say they found the suspect hanging out in the building between Mermaid and Surf avenues at 7:15 pm, and questioned him after realizing that he had no legitimate reason to be there. The officers then searched the suspect, finding the drugs and credit card in his pocket.
