Dirty laundry
Someone shot a man in a Kingsland Avenue laundromat as he was washing his clothes on Feb. 15, cops said.
The 36-year-old victim said he was doing his laundry at the establishment between Jackson and Withers streets at 11:45 am when a bullet smashed through the window and hit him in the stomach.
Surveillance footage from a nearby store shows the shooting and the gunman running away, according to the NYPD.
Bottle rocket
Police arrested a woman who they say beat a man over the head with a bottle on Clay Street on Feb. 14.
The 23-year-old victim said he was between Manhattan Avenue and McGuinness Boulevard at 6:55 am when the suspect attacked him. Police charged the woman with assault.
Retribution
A ruffian stole a guy’s cellphone on Meeker Avenue on Feb. 13, calling it payback for a previous theft.
The victim said he was between Jackson and Withers streets at 1:30 pm when the brute approached with what looked like an outline of a gun in his pocket.
“I know you stole my cousin’s phone, so give me your phone,” the scoundrel supposedly snarled.
The victim handed over the phone and the thief scrammed, a report says.
