Toiletries bandit
A punk was arrested for taking toiletries from a department store on June 8 at Avenue U.
The perp snatched toiletries and other personal items worth $1,204 at 3 p.m. at the store located at Flatbush Avenue and E. 55th Street, cops said.
The thief was cuffed at the scene and the property was recovered at the store, according to authorities.
Camera snatcher
A carjacker looted a parked car on E. 24th Street on May 28, police said.
The perp broke into the car, which was left overnight between New York Avenue and E. 35th Street, and stole a $10,000 camera, cops said.
Department store baddie
A thief stole an iPhone valued at $1,200 from a victim who left it on a store countertop on June 8, police said.
The victim left his phone at a clothing store located between Flatbush Avenue and East 57th Street at 10 p.m., cops said. The victim used a phone tracking app to see that the phone in walking distance. When the notification from the app was turned on, the application was turned off, according to the police.
Purse snatcher
A looter nabbed a purse from an unlocked car in a parking garage on Avenue U, according to police.
The perp broke into the parked car on June 8, taking $3,000 worth of property, according to authorities. The victim was aware of the stolen items when her bank texted her about an attempt to use one of her cards, cops said.
