Man wanted for allegedly grabbing woman’s butt in Bay Ridge

The police are asking the public to help them identify a man who allegedly slapped and squeezed a woman’s buttocks on 86th Street in Bay Ridge on Nov. 5.

The alleged assault occurred around 9 am, as the woman was crossing the street at Gatling Place, when the man walked past her and allegedly grabbed her from behind. The woman then approached the man and took pictures of him with her phone.

The man wanted for questioning is about 5-foot-10, with a slim build, black hair, brown eyes, and hair on his chin, according to the police department, which added that he was last seen wearing a red hooded sweatshirt, gray pants, and black sneakers.

Police are asking anyone with information regarding the incident to call Crime Stoppers at (800) 577–8477, or for Spanish, (888) 577-4782.
