Man wanted for grabbing woman’s buttocks at 86th Street subway station

Police are asking the public to help them identify a man who allegedly grabbed a woman’s buttocks on the Manhattan-bound R train platform at the 86th Street station at Fourth Avenue in Bay Ridge on Jan. 14.

The man allegedly approached the woman just after 5 am, when he allegedly grabbed her buttocks and fled.

He is described as about 30 years old, 5-foot-11 and about 220 pounds, according to police. He was last seen wearing a red sweater, blue jeans, and a knit hat.

Police are asking anyone with information regarding the incident to call Crime Stoppers at (800) 577–8477, or for Spanish, (888) 577-4782. The public can also submit tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers website at www.nypdcrimestoppers.com or by texting tips to 274637 (CRIMES) then entering TIP577.
