Manhattan rumble!

Manhattan rumble

An all-out brawl broke out and four jerks were arrested after a phone theft got onlookers involved on May 13.

The victim was near Manhattan and Norman avenues at about 9:35 pm when one of the perps approached and grabbed her cellphone. She cried for help, which rallied three onlookers who chased down the fleeing thug — but they weren’t ready for his three friends, who were lying in wait.

One crook became four — and the gang attacked the witnesses and again fled, this time down Lorimer Street. Luckily, a couple of officers were within earshot of the rumble, and they chased and apprehended the perps.

Scoot!

Two curmudgeons — one wielding a cane and the other holding a wire antenna — attacked a Bedford Avenue-bound man on a scooter on May 11.

The 46-year-old victim told cops that he was riding his scooter near Metropolitan Avenue at about 3:50 pm when he accidentally bumped into the two jerks. They warned him not to scoot in their territory, and the thug with the antenna stabbed the victim in the head before he hopped on his scooter and rode away. He left with cuts on the back of his head, but he kept his sweet ride.

Converted?

A crafty thug managed to steal two doors off a Jeep on Jewel Street on May 11.

The victim told police that he approached his Wrangler, which was between Norman and Nassau avenues, at about 9 pm to find the back of the “soft top” cut open. He figured that’s how the perp got in and ripped off the doors.

Wheel wrong

Greenpoint was hit with at least three car thefts last week:

• A jerk stole a Toyota Tundra from its Broome Street parking spot overnight between 9:30 pm May 10 and 7:20 am the next day. The victims came out of their home, which is near Humboldt Street, in the morning to find the car missing.
• Someone took an Acura from its Eckford Street parking spot on May 12. The victim noticed the theft at about 9 pm when he tried to find the car between Meserole and Norman avenues.

• A thug stole a Dodge from its spot on Greenpoint Avenue between Franklin Street and Manhattan Avenue on May 15. The car owner arrived at about 7 pm and noticed that the car had gone missing.
