Midwood morphed into a sun-kissed emporium of fun and festivity as residents joined forces with their neighbors for the annual Midwood Mardi Gras.
Among the neighborhood’s premier outdoor spectacles, the festival – presented by the Midwood Development Corporation (MDC) – drew area revelers to enjoy a cornucopia of delights along Avenue M, between Ocean and Coney Island avenues.
While mom and dad shopped at a variety of vendor stalls, youngsters were kept amused by an assortment of special attractions; among them, pony rides and carnival-style amusements.
