Going clubbing
A trio of baseball bat-wielding masked ruffians attacked three friends on 78th Street on May 19, police state.
The victims said they were near 13th Avenue at 11:49 pm when a black car with tinted windows pulled up and three men in ski masks jumped out — two of them swinging sluggers.
“You have a problem!” One of the big stick-armed goons said.
The thugs bashed the friends over the head with the clubs, then jumped back in their vehicle and sped away.
White-collar crime
A thief lifted a woman’s wallet from her office on 63rd Street on May 15 and rang up hundreds of dollars on her credit cards, police report.
The victim said she left her billfold in her desk drawer at the office near 12th Avenue at 6:45 pm and returned at 7:30 pm to find it missing — including the $740 in cash and her plastic cards inside. When she contacted her bank, she found out the villain had charged $316 on the cards.
Wrong address
A lowlife swiped a computer from the cab of a delivery truck on 11th Avenue on May 22, according to cops.
The driver reported that he left the truck between 68th and 69th streets at 6:40 am to drop off supplies with a customer. When he came back at 7:09 am, he discovered the gadget was gone.
Foul call
A crook jacked a backpack in Dyker Beach Park while its owner was shooting hoops on May 21, authorities allege.
The victim said he left his bookbag next to the courts near the corner of 86th Street and 14th Avenue at 3 pm and went to play basketball. When he came back, he saw the bag had vanished — with his cellphone and student MetroCard inside.
Ghost rider
A lowlife heisted a man’s car on 67th Street on May 22, cops say.
The victim told police he parked his vehicle between Sixth and Seventh avenues at 8 am and came back at 10:45 am to find his parking spot barren. Authorities said there was no record of the auto getting towed.
A real steal
Thieves jacked a pair of brand-new vehicles from a 65th Street dealership overnight on May 21, according to police.
An employee said he left the BMW and Infiniti inside the business’s garage between Fifth and Sixth avenues at 9 pm. But when he re-opened the auto emporium at 2:30 the next day, the cars were gone.
