Welcome and bienvenue to attorney Lizanne Fontaine, on her appointment as chairwoman of the Board of Trustees of the Brooklyn Hospital Center.
Lizanne is the the first nurse in the hospital’s history to serve in this position. “I am committed to Brooklyn after years of living, working and raising a family here,” she said. “I have seen firsthand how a strong hospital makes a stronger community.”
“We are so pleased to continue our wonderful relationship with Lizanne,” said Gary G. Terrinoni, president and chief executive officer at the hospital. “She is uniquely qualified to lead us as we continue our mission of keeping Brooklyn healthy,” he added.
Lizanne presently acts as counsel to VIP Community Services, Inc. in the Bronx. She graduated with her law degree from New York University School of Law, and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (magna cum laude) from New York University School of Education.
