A fire devastated a Bushwick apartment building on Memorial Day, sending dozens of firefighters scrambling to quash the blaze.
According to authorities, the inferno broke out at around 7:15 p.m. on the rear of the second floor, and quickly spread throughout the three-story brick building at 107 Pilling St.

The FDNY sent 12 units, with around 65 firefighters, to the scene, and they used two hose-lines to knock down the main body of fire.
Smoke eaters were able to place the fire under control at around 8:15 p.m.
Two residents of the building sustained injuries in the chaos, and they are expected to recover.
Fire Marshals are still investigating the cause of the fire.
