Memory problems

More than 10 percent of American adults over the age of 65, and approximately 50 percent of those older than 85, have memory disorders. Although not uncommon, memory decline is not a part of normal aging.

New York Methodist Hospital’s HealthOutreach‚ Program will feature a free lecture, “Senior Moments: Age Related Memory Changes,” which is open to the public, May 28 at 2 p.m. in the New York Methodist Hospital Auditorium, 505 Sixth Street, Park Slope, Brooklyn.
