Members ushered in a new slate during an officer installation, presented by the Mill Island Civic Association.
Saul Needle was installed as group president by his wife, Maxine, alongside the incoming slate of officers and board members at El Caribe Country Club, 5945 Strickland Avenue.
The program also featured an awards presentation, lauding members of the community with certificates of appreciation for their support and service.
Among the honorees were Bergen Beach Civic Association President Flo Hirsch, Assemblyman Alan Maisel, Mill Island Civic Association member Anthony Giuliani and Public School 236 student Luigi Morgera for “outstanding service” to the school, 6302 Avenue U.
