Side swipe

An auto stripper swiped a side view mirror from a 2002 BMW parked on Pacific Street on June 27 — right in front of its owner!

The 20-year-old victim told police that he actually witnessed the thief clip the wires to the motorized mirror between Vanderbilt and Underhill avenues and jump into a getaway car

Pistol pursued

A gun-toting goon chased a 21-year-old on Vanderbilt Avenue on June 23 in a bizarre attempt to test his courage.

The victim told police that he was near Prospect Place at 9:50 pm when the stranger charged him with a gun in his hand, screaming “I’m going to play the p—y test with you!”

The victim immediately ducked behind a parked car — apparently failing the test.

The gunman ran off.

Taxi touch

A frisky taxi driver sexually assaulted a 25-year-old woman as he dropped her off at an Eastern Parkway address on June 28.

The victim was exiting the yellow cab between Classon and Franklin avenues at 1:50 am when the driver jumped out and allegedly grabbed her breasts.

He then pulled the woman closer, but she shoved him away and ran off.

Beaten down

A heavy-handed thug attacked a 15-year-old on June 28, leaving his victim hospitalized.

The teen told police that he was on Prospect Place between Grand and Classon avenues at 9 pm when the assailant attacked him for no apparent reason.

Dead taco

A nimble-fingered thief made off with a woman’s handbag as she ate at the Taqueria De Los Muertos on Washington Avenue on June 28.

The 28-year-old victim told police that she was inside the eatery between St. Marks and Prospect Place at 8:50 pm when someone lifted her bag right off her chair.

Welcome home

An avid bicyclist returned to his Plaza Street East building on June 29 only to learn that someone gershed his wheels.

The victim told police that the $800 bike was in the basement of the building between Vanderbilt Avenue and Butler Place when it vanished.
