Two thieves robbed a man at an E. 16th Street park on March 25.
One of the baddies punched the victim in the back of the head, while the other grabbed his designer bag, which contained multiple credit cards and a cellphone. The perps then fled the green space near Avenue U at approximately 2 p.m., according to cops.
Backpack bandit
A brute assaulted and robbed a man on Quentin Road on March 25.
The perp punched the victim in the face before stealing his headphones and a backpack while he was walking home between E. Second and E. Third streets at 9:45 p.m., said cops.
Vampire robber
Cops cuffed a woman for biting a store clerk and attempting to steal her purse at a Coney Island Avenue bodega on March 30.
The employee at the store near Avenue Y told police the suspect began arguing with her at the checkout counter when she attempted to grab money from the store employee’s hand. After a brief scrum, the perp bit the woman’s right hand, grabbed her purse, and tried to take off at approximately 4:30 p.m., police reported. The woman was detained and arrested shortly after, cops said.
The victim was treated for her wounds at Coney Island Hospital, according to authorities.
Sneak-er thief
A pirate stole $960 from a man in a sneaker sale gone wrong on Avenue U on March 30.
The perp had arranged sell three pairs of kicks to the victim, but when he arrived at the meeting location near E. 24th Street shortly after 10 a.m., the perp grabbed the money and ran off, according to police.
