Arm grabber
A jerk roughed up a woman on Eighth Street on Oct. 26.
The 36-year-old victim told cops that she was talking on her iPhone near Fifth Avenue at 9 pm when a thug ran up, grabbed her arm and and swiped the fancy device.
Cops arrested an 18-year-old suspect the same night — and recovered a $600 cellphone.
R-ascal
A knife-wielding crook stole an iPod from a straphanger on Fourth Avenue on Oct. 28.
The 22-year-old victim told cops that he was waiting for the R-train near Ninth Street at noon when a man pulled out a knife and demanded the music player and the man’s wallet.
Not funny
A crook stole thousands of bucks worth of comic books from an apartment on Eighth Avenue on Oct. 29.
The 31-year-old victim told cops that she spotted a man enter through the basement door of her home near 12th Street at around 4:30 pm. The thief then snatched about $1,200 worth of collector’s edition comic books and a brown wallet before fleeing.
Cops arrested a 20-year-old suspect in Prospect Park the same day.
Sapphic swipe
A quick-moving thief stole a cellphone at a lesbian bar on Fifth Avenue on Oct. 21.
The 49-year-old victim told cops that she set her brown leather bag on a table at Ginger Bar near Fifth Street at 12:30 am, then looked away for less than a minute. That was enough time for the thief to swipe the bag — and the blue cellphone and debit card inside.
Dirty money
A thief stole some cash from an office on Fifth Avenue on Oct. 25.
The 58-year-old victim told cops that she left her office, near Third Street at 4:10 pm then went to Kleen Machine Laundromat. She returned 10 minutes later and discovered the office door open and her Nine West handbag and $120 gone.
Sub par
A jerk stole a straphanger’s cellphone on a subway at the Fourth Avenue station on Oct. 26.
The 24-year-old victim told cops that she was riding the subway at around 9:50 pm, when a teenager snatched an iPhone from her hand. The train stopped and the jerk — along with two pals, who were acting as lookouts — then ran into the station.
Cops arrested two 17-year-olds and an 18-year-old suspect the same day.
Euro jerk
A jerk stole European currency from an apartment on 12th Street on Oct. 28
The 39-year-old victim told cops that he left his apartment near Fifth Avenue at 10 am and returned at 5:30 pm to discover that the place had been ransacked and 200 Euros, a necklace and a Dell laptop were gone.
