MT-hey! Lots of service changes slated for this weekend

Dreamers, drifters, assorted makers and doers of Brooklyn, we humbly advise you to stay off the trains this weekend. Saturday and Sunday will bring lots of service changes that might make travel tedious — but at least the G train is up and running again, so if you’re going to ride the rails, stick to the Brooklyn Local and avoid Manhattan all together.

All changes are from Saturday, April 28 at 12:01 am to Monday, April 30 at 5 am unless otherwise noted:

3: Service is extended to the New Lots Avenue station.

4: No trains between Manhattan and New Lots Avenue, from 12:01 am until 11:59 pm on Saturday. Take the 3, N, Q, or R train.

A: Brooklyn-bound trains run via the F from Manhattan to Jay Street-MetroTech.

C: Brooklyn-bound trains run via the F from Manhattan to Jay Street-MetroTech from 6:30 am to midnight, Saturday and Sunday.

D: Coney Island-bound trains run via the N from 36th Street to Stillwell Avenue.

L: Trains between Broadway Junction and Rockaway Parkway run every 24 minutes from 6 am to 6 pm on Saturday.

N: Manhattan-bound trains run express from 36th Street to Atlantic Avenue-Pacific Street, and then skip DeKalb Avenue from 12 am to 6:30 am, Saturday and Sunday and 12 am to 5 am Monday.

Q: Manhattan-bound trains run via the R between DeKalb Avenue and Canal Street. Coney Island-bound trains run express from Prospect Park to Brighton Beach.

R: Manhattan-bound trains run express from 36th Street to Atlantic Avenue-Pacific Street and then skip DeKalb Avenue from 6:30 am to midnight, Saturday and Sunday. No trains between 59th Street and 36th Street in Brooklyn from 12 am to 6:30 am, Saturday and Sunday and from 12 am to 5 am, Monday — take the N instead.
