Hold the elevator
Four muggers yanked a Vinegar Hill man out of an elevator, and beat and robbed him on Nassau Avenue on Oct. 11.
The victim entered the elevator in his building between Navy and Gold streets around 3 pm when four louts called out to him in the lobby, then proceeded to pull him out of the lift and punch him in the face, giving him a busted lip and a loosened tooth, cops say.
The goons then stole the victim’s smartphone and fled to parts unknown, according to a report.
