Nightclub theft

A woman was partying too hard at a Bedford Avenue nightclub on Jan. 10, and someone stole her purse, which contained two digital cameras, a cellphone and an ATM card.

The 21-year-old told police that as she was preparing to pay her tab at the club, between North Seventh and North Eighth streets, at 12:30 am, she noticed her bag — containing two cameras, a pink Razr cellphone and an ATM card — was missing.

Missing wallet

A Norman Avenue man lost his wallet on New Year’s Eve and found out a week later that his credit cards were being used without permission.

The fraud victim finally reported his cards stolen on Jan. 7 — even though he noticed that his wallet was missing at about 8 pm on Dec. 31. He didn’t report it right away, he told the cops, because he didn’t know his cards were being used.

The victim told police that the thief had charged about $2,000 on them.

Punk’d

Three punks stole a man’s cellphone on Jan. 10 while the victim was watching his friends play handball at McCarren Park.

The 23-year-old victim told police he was hanging out with friends at the handball courts at about 4 pm when the thugs walked up to him and demanded the phone.

“Give me the Sidekick,” one of the perps said three times.

The victim ignored him at first, but when the punk threatened violence, he got the victim’s attention. The perp grabbed the phone and all three punks ran off shouting: “Don’t follow us.”
