‘No trash left behind’ at garden

Soldiers joined forces with the faithful to help transform an eyesore into a sight for sore eyes during a cleanup of Shore Road Gardens.

Armed with brooms, garbage bags and plenty of cheer, a grimebusting crew of 30 volunteers from the US military, and the First Church Of The Brethren, 358 60th Street, polished up on the elbow grease and made short work of the litter and debris at the community oasis, 90th Street and Shore Road.
