A food-flinging fiend flipped out on a Brighton Beach Avenue convenience store clerk and threw a nacho-cheese dispenser at him on May 12.The curd-slinging cretin walked into the store between Coney Island Avenue and Brighton Seventh Street around 11:20 pm and started yelling at the clerk, police said. Then he grabbed a counter-top queso font and threw it at the clerk, injuring his hand. Then he pushed the poor guy over, kicked him, and spit on him before fleeing.

The living daylights

A pair of armed ruffians robbed two guys in broad daylight on W. 35th Street on May 14, according to a police report.

A gun-toting goon and his accomplice confronted their victims near the corner of Neptune Avenue around 4 pm, cops said. They beat the guys, and once the victims were on the ground, they grabbed their jewelry and phones and fled, police said.

Not very polite

A brute pulled a knife on a guy on W. 17th Street after he refused to hand over his phone on May 14, police said.

The victim was standing between Neptune and Mermaid avenues around 10 pm when the bandit asked to use his phone, police said. His manners stopped there though — he pulled the knife and demanded the phone, which he victim handed over, according to a police report.

Feelin’ lucky, punk

Police arrested a man they say shot a guy point-blank range on W. 23rd Street, on May 11.

An officer heard a gunshot in the area and then saw the gunman, allegedly with a revolver in his hand, between Neptune and Mermaid avenues around 2:45 pm, officials said. The officer said he saw the guy put the gun to the victim’s face and pull the trigger, but both the gunman and the victim fled after the shot. Police later caught up to the alleged trigger man and cuffed him. He had the loaded revolver on him, with the serial number scratched off, police claim.

Credit card scammer cuffed

Police arrested a guy who they say had 16 fake credit cards on him during a raid on an Ocean parkway apartment on May 10.

Officers obtained a search warrant and descended on the building at the corner of Avenue Y around 2:45 pm. He had allegedly racked up $465 in ill-gotten purchases with the phony cards, police said.
