Now entering the Ring of Combat XXV

Former World Champion kickboxer and promoter Louis Neglia presented a jam−packed evening of electrifying martial arts during Ring of Combat XXV, held at the Tropicana Resort and Casino in Atlantic City, NJ.

Featuring the United States Kickboxing Association’s (USKBA) Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) light heavyweight and ROC middleweight title fights, the US championship title fight pitted Karen Grigoryan from Team Link, a student of Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) heavy hitter Gabriel Gonzaga, against Ricardo Romero — an ex−Rutgers wrestler who was ranked as high as 10th in the country at one point — from Advanced Martial Arts. Romero defeated Grigoryan at the two minute and 56 second mark of Round two by TKO to win the title.

The ROC middleweight title fight featured undefeated Victor O’Donnell from Team Vision against Team Renzo Gracie fighter, Rafael “Sapo” Natal. O’Connell defeated Natal by TKO at the five minute mark of round one after ROC doctors decided Natal could not fight anymore.

Neglia, a three−time World Kickboxing Champion and Karate Hall of Famer, runs the Louis Neglia Martial Arts Academy at 365 Avenue U.
