Lock out
A 31-year-old woman was arrested for locking a man out of his Avenue I home on July 14.
The victim told police that he was outside of his home between E. 51st and E. 52nd streets at 1 pm when he noticed the woman and a man enter his home. When the victim tried to gain access to his abode, he found that he had been locked out and proceeded to call the cops.
Police tried to arrest the woman, but she did her best to resist, at one point striking a police sergeant on his shoulder, cops said.
Cellphone swiper
Police arrested a 17-year-old who they say swiped a cellphone from the counter of a Kings Highway store on July 14.
Surveillance footage from the store between Farragut Road and E. 53rd Street showed a young man take the phone at 9:45 am, after seeing an employee place it on his shop’s counter, police said.
Held down
Two 19-year-old men and a 17-year-old boy were arrested for allegedly beating and robbing a man on E. 53rd Street on July 12.
The victim told police that he was between Avenues I and J at 10:40 am when two of the suspects grabbed him and held his arms while the third accomplice removed his watch.
At one point, the victim said he saw a handgun, which he believes the suspects used to bash the back of his head before they fled.
