Fatma Aly has been given a one-trip ticket to jail.

The 42-year-old owner of Fatma Travel Agency on 73rd Street near Fifth Avenue was indicted last week on charges of stealing money from clients looking forward to scenic trips to the Middle East and the Balkans.

Officials from the Kings County District Attorney’s office indicted Aly on grand larceny charges for allegedly pocketing money from her clients that was supposed to be used to buy airline tickets.

When booking a trip through her agency, Aly would demand that clients pay cash, officials alleged. She would then make airline reservations online, telling the clients that they will have E-tickets waiting for them at the airport, police alleged.

But since she never paid for them, the flights she reserved would expire, police alleged. Her bilked clients never suspected a thing until they found themselves at the airport without any tickets, police alleged.

Prosecutors alleged that Aly was also notorious for buying one-way tickets instead of round trip tickets, leaving clients stranded in the Middle East.

It’s believed that at least six victims fell for her scam and were duped out of more than $14,000.
