Bad car-ma

A ne’er-do-well swiped a bunch of stuff — including his sunglasses and wallet — from a man’s car parked on Smith Street on Sept. 23, police said.

The guy parked his white Toyota illegally and left it unlocked between Second and Carroll streets at 6 pm, and when he returned at 7:45 pm, he realized a punk had reached inside, and took his swiss army knives, wallet, lottery tickets, and change, worth hundreds, according to authorities.

Electronic shock

Some baddie swiped a woman’s electronics from her Court Street apartment on Sept. 25, police said.

The punk entered the home between Nelson and Huntington streets at about 6:30 pm through an unlocked door and ran off with a pricey Apple laptop and an iPhone, authorities said.

Nabbed after punch

Cops cuffed a man for socking someone in the face on Columbia Street on Sept. 25.

The 28-year-old suspect punched a 55-year-old near Bush Street at about 2 pm, but was later arrested for the attack, according to authorities.

Costly meal

A good-for-nothing swiped jewelry and other stuff from inside a man’s bag while he was having dinner at an eatery on Reed Street on Sept. 24, police said.

The 67-year-old victim told police he left his bag on a chair at the restaurant near Van Brunt Street at about 5 pm and when he went back to get it at 8 pm, realized it was gone, according to authorities. The theif had dumped the bag in a nearby garbage can, but not before fleeing with hundreds of dollars worth of goods, including his nine credit and debit cards, Ray-Ban sunglasses, a Star of David bracelet, and checkbook, investigators said.

Work site shame

A lout stole hundreds of dollars worth of tools from a site on Amity Street sometime between Sept. 22 and Sept. 25, police said.

The construction company told police the punk swiped of hammers, drills, grinders, and screw guns from the location near Pacific Street, according to authorities.
