Members at the Midwood Senior Center received a rollicking start to a new decade, courtesy of bright-eyed students from Public School 203 who jumpstarted Year 2010 with a concert of classic and popular favorites.
The talented troupe, comprising youngsters from the student government, put forth a crowd-pleasing song and dance medley which had the rapt audience clapping and toe-tapping along at the elder facility, 4815 Avenue I.
The visit was part of a inter-generational program at the school, 5101 Avenue M, to acquaint youngsters with seniors in their community.
