P.S. 52 jumps at the chance to help out

Big−hearted youngsters stepped up the battle to find a cure for heart disease by putting their best foot forward for a benefit jump−a−thon at Public School 52.

The nimble troupe drew rave reviews, transforming the gymnasium of the school – 2675 East 29th Street – into a mini−Olympic show hall as boys and girls alternated traditional jump−roping with the more complex “Double Dutch” version.

Proceeds will benefit the American Heart Association.
