Hold onto those britches
A touchy-feely fiend stole cash from a man’s pants pockets on E. 13th Street on Sept. 19, according to a report.
The burglar snuck in through an open window at the home between Avenue Z and Shore Parkway at 3 am and copped the cash while the man slept, said police.
What a tool
An opportunistic crook stole tools from an unlocked vehicle parked on Avenue W on Sept. 15, according to authorities.
The thief swiped the tools from the back door of the car near Lake Street at 7 pm, an officer stated.
Rude robbers
A gun-toting bandit robbed an elderly man on Avenue Z on Sept. 17, police said.
The coldhearted crook flashed a white firearm and stole the man’s gold watch on Batchelder Street at 9 pm, according to a report. The man then zoomed off in a white vehicle, cops said.
No injuries were reported, officers stated.
Money machine madness
A money-hungry man tampered with an automated teller machine at Nostrand Avenue on Sept. 18, an officer stated.
The crook slightly damaged the machine on Avenue Y at 7 am. But police say users should inspect all card readers before each use, paying special attention to crooked adhesive residue on cash dispensers.
Troubled teens
Two teenager twerps snatched a man’s iPhone on Voorhies Avenue on Sept. 19, cops stated.
The thieves snuck up on the man from behind on E. 26th Street. One of the crooks threatened the man with a green box-cutter, according to a report.
The phone was later recovered, officers said.
