Pistol-whipped and robbed

Cops are looking for two “hoods” responsible for mugging a 30-year-old on West 9th Street last week.

The victim said that he was near Columbia Street at 10:15 p.m. on November 19 when he was stopped by two men. One was sporting a navy blue hooded sweatshirt. The other wore a tan colored hooded sweatshirt, officials said.

“Give it to me,” one of the thieves demanded as he struck the 30-year-old across the head with the butt of his handgun.

Police said the thieves ran off with a canvas bag containing a laptop computer, a few textbooks, iPod and video camera.

Cops are asking anyone with information regarding this incident to come forward.

A 16-year-old student at Cobble Hill High School ended up cooling her heels at the 76th Precinct after she slugged a female school safety agent, police alleged.

Officials said that the agent was breaking up a fight between Dionne Clarke and another student inside the Baltic Street school at 11:45 a.m. when the teen allegedly sucker-punched her in the left side of her face.

The school safety officer was taken to Long Island College Hospital for observation as the student was taken to the 76th Precinct on assault charges, police said.

A 29-year-old man was taken into custody after he was caught breaking into %u2013 or at least under — a Clinton Street home, police alleged this week.

Cops were called to the home near 4th Place at about 10 p.m. on November 19 after a witness saw Miquel Fernandez allegedly force open a side door leading to the basement.

Responding officers caught Fernandez as he escaped the home empty-handed, officials alleged. He was charged with burglary in the third degree and criminal mischief.

Police Officer Cedric Brooks was credited with the arrest.

A thief made off with a woman’s purse during a stop-over at Trader Joe’s %u2013 the third time in a month that this particular crime has been reported at the popular grocery store.

A 35-year-old woman told police that she had her purse slung over the handle to her baby stroller as she walked along Court Street near Baltic Street on the morning of November 17.

She said that when she went inside Trader Joe’s, 130 Court Street, to buy something, someone must have snagged the purse from the stroller. She didn’t realize that the purse was missing until she went up to make a purchase, she told police.

But by then it was too late.

Officials said that when she attempted cancel her cards, she was told that someone had already used one of them to buy a $95 MetroCard.

Back on November 10, a 22-year-old woman lost her pocketbook to a sticky-fingered thief when she left her bag on a table at Trader Joe’s.

On October 28, a 33-year-old woman reported that someone had swiped her wallet from her bag as she shopped, officials said.

Cops are looking for a gun-toting thief with a footwear fetish.

Officials said that the unidentified male snuck up on a woman near the corner of Hamilton Avenue and Mill Street at 3:45 a.m. on November 14, jamming the gun into her back.

The thief swiped $50 from the woman and forced her to take off her boots, which he then ran off with.

The woman was forced to search for help barefoot, officials said.

A thief slipped into Buttermilk Channel Bistro, 524 Court Street, recently, although nothing was taken from the neighborhood eatery.

Workers told police that they have the thief on videotape rifling through the register sometime around 9:45 p.m. on November 9.

Police said that their suspect, described as a Hispanic male with straight hair, busted a glass pane on the front door in order to get inside.

Nothing had been reported missing as this paper went to press, although the thief was seen wondering around the restaurant with a cardboard box.

Over $5,000 in video game equipment was stolen from a Dwight Street home last week, cops were told.

The thief must have thought he was in gamer haven on the morning of November 12 when he busted inside the home near King Street and found three video game consoles and 100 video games.

A silver watch and a Verizon cell phone were also removed, officials said.

Police later determined that the thief entered the home after forcing open a living room window.
