A 15-year-old boy had his hood pulled over his face as a thief fleeced him of $10 at the corner of Jay and Tillary Streets.
The victim told police that he was nearing the corner at 3 p.m. on September 11 when the unidentified suspect grabbed him from behind.
The thief yanked down the teen’s hood to cover his eyes and then punched him in the face.
As the victim reeled backwards, the suspect rifled through his pockets and ran off with his property, police said.
