A woman had a gold chain ripped off her neck as she walked down 72nd Street between Fourth and Fifth Avenues during a daring daytime theft.
Cops were told that the woman was walking eastbound on 72nd Street at 1:41 p.m. on September 7 when an unidentified thief crept up behind her, yanked at the gold chain and ran off with it.
Police believe that the thief followed the woman from a nearby ATM.
Anyone with information regarding this theft is urged to come forward.
