Gravesend raid
Twenty-eight people from the Gravesend Houses were arrested last week during a massive drug raid.
Police said that narcotics cops descended on the Neptune Avenue side of the expansive housing complex in the early-morning hours of February 5 following a prolonged investigation which included several undercover drug buys.
Officials said that cops raided ten apartments in the various buildings and seized 176 envelopes of heroin, 13 packages of crack, $3,500 in cash, a pistol and a .22 caliber.
The people found inside these apartments were taken into custody, charged with criminal possession of narcotics with intent to sell.
Girl on girl
Cops are looking for two lethal ladies who robbed another woman as she walked through Sheepshead Bay last week.
The 20-year-old victim told police that she was on East 14th Street near Shore Parkway as she made her way home at 3:10 a.m. on February 7 when the two unidentified females exited a gray sedan idling on the block.
The two girls stopped the young woman, stating, “Just give me your bag, I have a knife.”
Cops were told that the suspects flashed their knife, grabbed the woman’s handbag and sped off in the car.
In the hours that followed, several charges were made on the victim’s credit cards in late-night stores along Kings Highway.
Also taken was the woman’s cell phone and iPod, police said.
Two on one
Two thieves are being sought for a gunpoint hold-up at the corner of Highlawn Avenue and West 4th Street, officials said.
Police said that a 32-year-old man was nearing the corner just after 11 p.m. on February 3 when the two suspects pulled a gun on him.
The thieves robbed the victim of $150 in cash, his cell phone and another electronic item before running off.
No injuries were reported.
Investigators described the two thieves as black males in their mid-twenties.

Stabbed without
provocation
A 41-year-old man was rushed to the hospital last week after a stranger stabbed him in the stomach.
The victim said that he was on West 10th Street between Avenues O and P at 4:50 p.m. on February 3 when the man attacked him for no apparent reason.
The thug jammed a sharp instrument into the victim’s midsection, leaving a deep wound that needed immediate attention at a hospital.
Police said that the victim was listed in stable condition after treatment.
The man who attacked him was still at large as this paper went to press.
Child’s play
A 13-year-old girl was arrested last week after she held up an older boy on an area train, cops from the 62nd Precinct said.
The victim, 14, told police that he was sitting on a subway car rumbling past the corner of 86th Street and 20th Avenue in Bensonhurst at 3:30 p.m. on February 5 when the girl walked up to him and demanded his money.
When he wouldn’t fork the money over, she pushed him, officials were told.
Fearing for his safety, the victim gave the teen his cash, but then ran to a cop to report what had happened.
The cop took the teen — who was not named because of her age — into custody without incident.
Jacket grabber sought
Three teens ganged up on a fourth during a jacket grab on Highlawn Avenue, officials said.
Police said that a 14-year-old boy from FDR High School was on Highlawn nearing West 3rd Street at 6:15 p.m. on January 31 when the suspects — believed to be his classmates — approached and demanded that he shuck off his jacket and hand it to them.
When the victim refused, the suspects threw him to the ground and threatened to stab him, although they didn’t show a knife.
The thieves made off with the victim’s jacket and cell phone, officials said.
Bugging out
A 56-year-old woman was arrested last week after she attacked someone with a can of bug spray.
Police said that the woman and a 43-year-old man were arguing inside an address on East 12th Street near Avenue Z in Sheepshead Bay at 7 p.m. on February 3 when she grabbed a can of “Real Kill” bug spray.
She struck her victim in the face with the can, leaving him with a broken nose and a deep cut.
Responding officers took the woman into custody without incident, charging her with assault.
Her name was not released. It was unclear just what her relationship was to her victim as this paper went to press.
Knotted up
A woman’s head bounced against a Sheepshead Bay sidewalk as she fought off a purse-snatcher.
Cops are currently looking for the two thieves, who left the woman with a lump on her head to remember them by.
The 44-year-old victim told police that she was nearing the corner of Avenue Z and East 14th Street at 1:30 a.m. on January 29 when the two thugs snagged her pocketbook.
The woman fought back and tried to get possession of her bag, but the thieves knocked her to the ground, where she struck her head.
Police said that the two thieves fled the area in a black four-door sedan.
Inside the stolen bag were some credit cards, a set of keys and the woman’s photo albums, officials said.
