Police hunting for arsonist who lit school buses on fire

Cops are searching for the arsonist who lit several school buses on fire in a Strickland Avenue bus depot on July 13.

The rogue intentionally ignited four blazes inside the Seth Transportation Incorporated lot near E. 59th Place and Mayfair Drive South at about 3 am with the help of another unidentified punk, according to authorities. The flames engulfed more than seven school buses and an office trailer, destroying them, police said.

Police are asking anyone with information regarding the murder to call Crime Stoppers at (800) 577–8477. The public can also submit tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers website at www.nypdcrimestoppers.com or by texting tips to 274637 (CRIMES) then entering TIP577.
