76th Precinct

Carroll Gardens-Cobble Hill–Red Hook

Cleaned out

Police cuffed a 46-year-old guy who they say stole a bunch of soap from a Van Brunt Street market on July 18.

The manager of the store near Reed Street told cops he saw the suspect leave with the stolen suds at 11 am.

The suspect then admitted he pinched the toiletries and cops arrested him for petty larceny, police said.

High and low

Cops collared a guy after they say they spotted him smoking weed and then discovered he had a knife on him on Henry Street on July 14.

Authorities first eyed the suspect near Lorraine Street at 10:48 pm with the blunt in hand, and officials also had active warrants for him, according to a report.

Gotta go

Officers arrested a 24-year-old guy who they say peed in public on Carroll Street on July 16.

Cops saw the guy urinating on the sidewalk near Hicks Street at 11 am, police said. The suspect also had three other active warrants, according to authorities.

Phoning it in

Police slapped a teen in irons for stealing a pair of headphones from a Court Street store on July 15.

Cops claim the 18-year-old swiped the Sony headphones from the store at 10:58 am, before officers chased him to Clinton Street.

Finished the job

Cops arrested the second of two perps who they say threw a lady to the ground and stole her cellphone and credit card on Hicks Street on July 10.

Police had already arrested a 47-year-old man the same day as the alleged crime, and then nabbed a 34-year-old woman between Centre Mall and Bush Street on July 15, according to authorities.

Red thumb

Police on July 12 cuffed a guy for assaulting a man at a Hicks Street construction site.

The suspect cut the guy’s thumb between Pacific and Atlantic streets at 12:35 am on July 6, and the gash required stitches, police said.
