Police arrested a man for cutting another guy with a knife on Fifth Avenue on Feb. 18.
The victim told cops that he was near Douglass Street around 4 pm when he got into an argument with another man. Cops say the suspect then pulled out a knife and attacked the victim, slicing his left hand.
When police got to the scene, the victim was taken to the hospital, where he received stitches, and the suspect was apprehended on assault charges and carrying drugs, according to the report.
Workplace theft
Cops busted a man on Feb. 13 who they say stole money from his Rogers Avenue place of work last year.
Police said the suspect stole the cash from his job near Lenox Road last September, getting away with $7,500 intended for payroll.
Officers caught up with him at his home this month at 11 am and cuffed him.
Chain snatcher
A nogoodnik swiped a necklace right off a man’s neck on 10th Street on Feb. 15.
The victim told cops he was near Fifth Avenue around 11:55 pm when, out of nowhere, a man snatched the chain from around his neck and ran.
Easy car haul
Someone stole a car parked on Atlantic Avenue on Feb. 15.
A valet parked the vehicle near Flatbush Avenue at 10:45 pm, leaving it unlocked, according to police. When he returned to the car, he could not find it, and called the police, who then contacted the car owner.
Grab and ran
A sneak thief stole money from a Fifth Avenue store on Feb. 11.
Cops say that the robber walked into the shop near St. Marks Avenue and took several items from the shelves before fleeing. Police say they are reviewing video footage to identify a suspect, according to the report.
Lost and half-found
A thief picked clean a wallet lost on Sixth Avenue on Feb. 2 — before a good Samaritan retuned it to its owner on Feb. 13.
The victim told police that she lost the billfold at the beginning of the month near Union Street, and received a phone call from someone claiming to have it a week later.
She met with the person to recover her wallet, but told cops that her driver’s license and some cash were missing, according to the report.
Swiped bag
A nogoodnik lifted a bag accidentally left at a Flatbush Avenue train station restroom on Feb. 15.
The woman told police that she was at the public bathroom near Atlantic Avenue around 3:20 pm and shortly after realized that she left her bag — containing her personal documents and a new dress, according the report.
Cops say when she returned to the loo four hours later, the bag was gone.
