A baddie robbed a woman in an elevator on W. Second Street on Dec. 17.
The victim told police that she was in the building elevator going up when the malefactor asked her to give him her purse and threatened to hurt her with a metal pipe between Avenue Z and Shore Parkway at 2:55 pm.
She handed him $70 and the punk then fled on foot when the elevator stopped on the third floor, according to police.
Choker
A man was choked by a would-be robber outside a supermarket on Neptune Avenue on Dec. 18.
The victim told cops that he was taking the locks off the gate to open up the store when the crook came up to him from behind and put him in a chokehold and told him, “give me your wallet,” at W. Fifth Street at 6:50 am.
The victim was able to get out of the hold and the lout then fled the scene, according to cops.
Window buster
A dirtbag burgled a van on 26th Avenue on Dec. 17.
The victim told cops that the ne’er-do-well broke his car’s rear right side window and stole drilling equipment worth $2,000 at Bath Avenue at 7:30 pm.
Sneaker sneak
A woman’s package was stolen from her Neptune Avenue home on Dec. 5.
The victim told cops that she received a delivery confirmation but that she never got her package, containing a pair of sneakers, between W. Fifth and Sixth streets at 5:15 pm.
The victim believes that someone stole her sack of sneakers from her building’s lobby, according to cops.
Purse burglar
A burglar busted into a car and stole a woman’s purse on 28th Avenue on Dec. 17.
The victim told police that she returned to her car and noticed that someone had broken her passenger front window and removed her purse, along with credit cards at Cropsey Avenue at 5 pm.
Q train crook
A lout stole a man’s bag on the subway at Brighton Beach Avenue on Dec. 18.
The victim was traveling on the Q train towards Brighton Beach from Manhattan and fell asleep and later woke up at Brighton Sixth Street station and noticed that someone had taken his bag, which contained his tablet, cash, electronics and identification cards at 8 pm, according to cops.
