Police: Man threatens woman with needle

61st Precinct

Sheepshead Bay—Homecrest—
Manhattan Beach—Gravesend

Nasty needles

A 29-year-old man was arrested for threatening a woman with a hypodermic needle on Kings Highway on June 23.

The victim told police that she was between Bedford Avenue and E. 26th Street at 1 am when the man pointed the sharp medical instrument in her direction.

When the man was arrested, police found six needles on him, according to court papers.

Too much tint

Police arrested a 28-year-old man who they say was driving drunk on Emmons Avenue on June 24 — but only arrested him after they found his tinted-windows to be too opaque.

The arresting officer was between Bragg and Brigham streets at 6 am when he pulled over the driver because the tint on his windows was too dark, police said.

The officer also found the suspect to be over the limit — after a breathalyzer test measured the man’s alcohol content as .113 percent, cops said.

Stabbed and slashed

A 42-year-old man stabbed another man on Emmons Avenue on June 14, police said.

The victim told police that he was between Ocean Avenue and E. 21st street at 10:40 pm when the suspect stabbed him in the chest, and then slashed his right side.
