60th Precinct

Coney Island—Brighton Beach—Seagate

Close call

Police arrested one of two men who they say put a gun to a woman’s head and demanded cash on Bay 43rd Street on Jan. 7, authorities said.

The victim told police she was between Benson and Bath avenues at 3 pm with her friend when two men approached them. One of the men grabbed her by the arm and stated, “This is not a game, give me your stuff,” according to a police report.

He pulled out a gun and pressed it against the victim’s head. The second man told her friend, “Tell your friend to give her bag or my man’s gonna shoot her.” The man holding a gun to the victim’s head proceeded to punch her in the mouth until she handed over her purse, according to a police report.

The duo took the other woman’s purse before they fled the scene, authorities said.

Mugging

Two louts mugged two men at knifepoint on W. 25th Street on Jan. 5, said police.

The victims were in the lobby of an apartment building between Surf Avenue and the Boardwalk at 7:15 pm when the brutes approached them. One of the louts pulled out a knife, shoved one of the men against the wall, and demanded the pair fork over cash and cellphones, authorities said. The baddies then fled on foot, but the victims gave chase, police said.

The men got away when one of the victims slipped and hit his head, officials said.

Scary encounter

A cad pressed a gun into a woman’s stomach and demanded she hand over her purse at the intersection of Ocean Parkway and Neptune Avenue on Jan. 7, officials said.

The woman told police that she was walking on Neptune Avenue at 7:20 pm when the man approached her and asked her for the time. The woman said that her phone was dead, but the lout pulled out a black handgun and pushed it into her stomach and stated, “Give me your stuff.”

The woman handed over her handbag and the man fled on foot, authorities said.
