Police officer egged

Someone chucked an egg at a police officer from the window of a Cumberland Walk building on Aug. 11, authorities said.

The officer was escorting a prisoner at 5 pm, on Cumberland between Park and Myrtle avenues, when an egg struck him in the head, according to police. The shelled projectile caused the officer substantial pain and dizziness, and ruined his uniform, the report says.
