Police looking for alleged Brighton Beach bike burglar

Cops are searching for a man they say stole a bicycle out of a Brighton Beach garage earlier this month.

Police are enlisting the public’s help to search for an alleged Brighton Beach bike burglar.

According to the NYPD, at approximately 7 a.m. on May 6, an unknown individual entered a garage near Brighton Sixth Street and Brighton Fourth Terrace. Once inside, the suspect grabbed a bicycle away from its owner and fled northbound on Brighton Sixth Street.

The victim did not sustain any injuries as a result of the crime.

Cops said the suspect is a man in his an approximately 5’10” man in his 30s with a light complexion and medium build. He was last seen wearing a black hat, gray hooded sweatshirt, black sneakers and black sweatpants.
