He’s not lovin’ it
Police arrested a man who they say threatened a guy with a gun in an 86th Street fast food restaurant on Dec. 17.
The victim told police he was in the eatery between Fourth and Fifth avenues at 1:20 am when the man began arguing about waiting in line. But the dispute escalated when the suspect allegedly pulled out a black .40 caliber pistol and threatened the victim, according to a police report.
Officers canvassed the area and stopped the suspect on 87th Street and Fourth Avenue, said authorities.
Would-be robbers
Five ruffians tried to mug a man on 63rd Street on Dec. 14.
The victim told police that he was walking home between 13th and 14th avenues at 6:50 pm when five unknown men surrounded him, rushed him, and started punching him. The would-be robbers tried to remove his cellphone, but the victim broke free before the bruisers could wrestle it from him, officials said.
The goons then fled on foot on 63rd Street, cops said.
Break it up
Police cuffed two men who allegedly attacked a police officer as he was trying to break up a fight on Third Avenue on Dec. 18.
The officer reported seeing the two men fighting between 76th Street and Bay Ridge Parkway at 3:50 am. He attempted to separate the two, but one pushed the cop away while the other punched him in the back of the head, according to a police report.
Both suspects allegedly resisted handcuffs, pushing the officer and flailing their arms, officers reported.
Gas-holes
Two goons threatened a man with a gun at a Fourth Avenue gas station in the middle of the afternoon on Dec. 13 before fleeing into a busy department store, said police.
The pair approached the victim while he was pumping gas between 91st and 92nd streets at 3:30 pm, and one pulled out a black gun and stated, “Run your s—,” before the pair ran off into the nearby department store, according to a police report.
Police canvassed the area but came up empty handed, officials said.
