Police: Suspect socks guy in the face

78th Precinct

Park Slope

Room service

Cops arrested a 42-year-old man for allegedly punching a guy inside a Butler Street hotel on March 29.

The victim told police he was trying to diffuse an argument between the suspect and another person at the inn between Nevins Street and Third Avenue at 10:55 p.m. when the guy suddenly turned around and socked him right in the kisser.

Police cuffed the man on a misdemeanor assault charge, cops said.

Pedaling crime

Police have given up the hunt for the cyclist who pedaled off after smashing into a limo on Fourth Avenue on March 25.

The driver told police he was near Sixth Street when the bike rider slammed into his driver-side door at 2:45 a.m., before taking off.

Drunk tank

Cops busted a guy for allegedly driving drunk after he ran a red light on Fifth Avenue on March 25 and smashed into another car.

The victim told police he was near Flatbush Avenue when the suspect ran the red and smashed into his car at 1:20 a.m., leaving him with head and back injuries.

The patrolman who interviewed the suspect following the collision claimed the guy was clearly drunk, rambling incoherently, and unable to stand, and the man later refused to be tested for inebriation at a nearby hospital, cops said.
