Kid-napper
Cops cuffed an 18-year-old man for allegedly robbing another 12-year-old on E. 16th Street on April 15.
The suspect, along with three others, approached the child between Quentin Road and Avenue R, at approximately 5 p.m., before grabbing his wallet and headphones, cops said.
Cops tracked down the teen and arrested him on April 22. The three other baddies, who surrounded the child during the robbery, have not yet been found, according to police
Schoolhouse rocked
Police arrested a 16-year-old who they say assaulted a classmate and stole a backpack at a Bedford Avenue school on April 16.
The teen punched the victim in the face while in the school between Avenue P and Quentin Road, causing substantial bruising, before grabbing the bag and running off at approximately 11:30 a.m., according to cops.
Police came to the school, and arrested the suspect later that day.
Delivery robber
Two pilferers robbed a delivery driver on E. 24th Street on April 18.
The victim was making a delivery between Avenues Y and Z at approximately 10:10 a.m., when one of the baddies punched him in the face while the other held him down. The two men then took $200 from the victim’s pocket, before fleeing toward Avenue X, said cops.
Madison mad man
Cops arrested a suspect who they say broke into an Avenue P apartment on April 19.
The perp knocked on the door of the apartment, on the corner of E. Fifth Street, at approximately 1:30 a.m., cops said. When the victim opened the door, the suspect punched him in the face, entered the home, and stole $1,570 worth of property, said authorities.
Cops arrested the 48-year-old the following morning, according to the report.
Glassbreaking
A robber broke into a Bedford Avenue home on April 17.
The perp broke the sliding-glass backdoor of the home between Avenues S and R, while the homeowner was at a doctor’s appointment, according to cops.
When the victim returned home, she saw the perp carrying a blue backpack and fleeing from the rear of the home toward Quentin Road, said police.
Air-conditioned robbery
A burglar broke into an E. 18th Street home and stole $5,017 worth of property between April 10 and 19.
The perp removed a window-mounted air conditioning unit and entered the home between Avenues R and S while the victim was on vacation, police reported. The thief stole a camera, a computer, and other electronics, said cops.
