Police arrested a teen on Tuesday night who they say was walking along a Bedford-Stuyvesant street with an assault rifle stuffed under his coat.
Three officers were near Marcus Garvey Boulevard and Willoughby Street at around 8:20 pm when they saw four guys walking down the street — one of whom allegedly had a suspicious bulge protruding from his jacket, police said.
When they stopped and searched the 16-year-old, the cops allegedly found he had a 9-millimeter Kel-Tec assault rifle in a nylon bag strapped to his chest and was also carrying a knife, according to a report.
Authorities say they later found the same rifle had been reported stolen in upstate New York in 2007.
Police charged the teen for both the weapons and pilfered property.
