Stop and steal
Cops cuffed two teens who they say punched a guy in the face and stole his phone and money on Vanderbilt Avenue on Feb. 5.
The 37-year-old victim told police he was biking home after work near Gates Avenue at about 10:30 pm when the suspect socked him in the face, sending him to the ground. Three other suspects started kicking him and grabbed his phone, $200, and bike keys, according to authorities. Police caught and arrested two, but the rest of the suspects are still on the loose, officials said.
Liquor louts
Police arrested two people on Feb. 6 for swiping a bottle of liquor from a store on Flatbush Avenue several days earlier on Jan. 26.
An employee said the pair of suspects came into the liquor store near Lafayette Avenue with their kids, took a bottle of Opera Bonfadini Rose off the shelf, and ran out of the store at about 6 pm, officials said. The store employee told police one of the suspects pulled out a screwdriver when he tried to stop him, according to authorities.
Street attack
Three nogoodniks assaulted a guy and stole his wallet and phone on Fulton Street on Feb. 9, police said.
The victim told police he was walking towards the subway near Clermont Avenue at about 11:50 pm when the three malefactors started punching and kicking him and grabbed his wallet, Bluetooth headset, society security card, cash, and debit cards, and then fled down Fulton Street, according to authorities.
Jewel thief
Some crook stole a woman’s watch and jewelry from her Ashland Place apartment sometime between Dec. 24 and Jan. 15, police said.
The woman reported to police on Feb. 7 that some punk took her Rolex watch and gold hoop earrings from her apartment near Myrtle Avenue, officials said.
Dude, where’s my car?
Some baddie drove off with a woman’s car parked on Saint Edwards Street overnight on Feb. 7, police said.
The woman told police she left her 2008 Lincoln parked near Auburn Place at about 8 pm on Feb. 7, and when she went back to get it the next day at 11 am, it was gone, officials said.
Party foul
A punk stole a woman’s wallet and phone while at a party on Flushing Avenue on Feb. 11, police said.
The woman told authorities she was at the gathering inside the Navy Yard at about 2 am when some guy came up to her and said she dropped her passport and New York identification card and handed them back to her. But when she checked inside her wallet, her credit cards were gone and her iPhone was missing, cops said.
