Looking for trouble

A 16-year-old was arrested for stealing a man’s phone on E. 49th Street on June 4.

The victim told police that he was near Flatlands Avenue at 11:39 am when the suspect and a young accomplice approached him.

“What are you looking at?” the suspect snarled, before snagging the victim’s phone, which was clipped to his shirt, and fleeing with his partner, police said.

Eary attack

Police arrested a 19-year-old who they said beat another man and slashed him with a knife on Avenue N on May 28.

The victim told police that he was near Schenectady Avenue at 12:40 am when the suspect punched him in the face several times, drew a knife, and sliced him repeatedly, including on his ear.

Back in action

A 54-year-old man was arrested for attacking and biting another man on E. 37th Street on May 31 — and then chasing him with a baseball bat.

The victim told police that he was between Avenues I and J at 8:30 am when the suspect jumped on his back, bit him, and then proceeded to chase him with a baseball bat and a knife.

“I’m going to kill you,” the suspect allegedly threatened, while pursuing the victim.
