Winging it

Police arrested a man who they say tried to steal dozens of cans of energy drink from a Smith Street store by smuggling them out under his clothing on Feb. 9.

The shopkeeper said the guy allegedly removed 30 cans of Red Bull from the shelf of the store near Warren Street at 7:15 pm and hid them inside his sweater.

He allegedly tried to leave the store without paying for the $81 worth of caffeine, but the manager caught him and held him until the police came.

Deal, no deal

Cops cuffed a guy for dealing drugs to undercover cops on Visitation Place on Feb. 29.

Police said the man allegedly sold cocaine to two plain-clothes officers in front of the Court House near Verona Street at 9:48 am. But after they made the exchange, the buyers then cuffed him, according to authorities.

Schoolhouse rocked

Police collared a man who they say was carrying drugs while making a ruckus outside of a school near Hoyt Street on Feb. 22.

Someone notified officers that a guy was allegedly throwing a glass bottle in the air on a Warren Street sidewalk at 2:45 pm while children were being let out from school.

When officers caught him, they discovered he was holding weed, and they cuffed him for causing a stir.

Glass jaw

Cops slapped cuffs on a driver for allegedly chucking a glass jar at another motorist’s face during a fight over a parking space in a Beard Street lot on Feb. 21.

Police said two guys got in a verbal spat over a space at a furniture giant’s Brooklyn outpost near Dwight Street at 4 pm.

It escalated when the victim approached the suspect’s vehicle, at which point the suspect allegedly hurled a glass jar through his open window, which shattered on the victim’s face. Police soon arrived on the scene and arrested the alleged pitcher.
