62nd Precinct
Bensonhurst-Bath Beach
20th Ave. terror
Cops arrested a 26-year-old who they claim threatened to shoot — and then run over — another man following a Dec. 3 robbery on 20th Avenue.
Witnesses told police that the two men were arguing near 72nd Street at 10 am when the suspect began waving around what looked like a gun and threatened to “shoot [the victim] in the face.”
The suspect tried to punch — but missed — his victim before getting in his car and gunning it at the man, forcing the victim to jump out of the way.
Sneak snake
Cops say a thief crept into a Bay 23rd Street home on Nov. 28, taking an iPod and $7 from a woman’s pocketbook — and was finally caught last week.
The woman said she was asleep inside her home between Bath and Cropsey avenues at 5:30 am when the thief crept in and made off with her property.
Cops ultimately caught up with a suspect connected to the theft on Dec. 7, charging him with burglary.
Robber grab
Cops arrested a 23-year-old man who they claim held up another man on New Utrecht Avenue back on June 28.
The victim told police that the suspect and another man — who had been arrested weeks earlier — grabbed him near 78th Street at 10:30 am, flashed what appeared to be a firearm, and ran off with his iPod, chain and watch.
Investigators from the 62nd Precinct caught up with the suspect this week, charging him with robbery in the first degree.
Left broken
A 41-year-old thug was arrested on Dec. 8 in connection with a brutal June 28 attack on 20th Avenue resident.
Police said the two men were arguing near 80th Street at 9 pm when the suspect attacked, beating him to the ground.
When the victim was down, the suspect allegedly kicked him repeatedly, fracturing his ribs, said police, who charged the alleged attacker with assault on Dec. 8.
