Turf war
Two thugs cut up a 33-year-old on Aug. 25 when they caught him trespassing on their block — 80th Street between Fifth and Sixth avenues.
The Staten Island man said he was on his way to his sister’s house at 1 am when the two suspects, described as Middle Eastern men in their 20s, confronted him.
“This is my block,” one of the louts said before charging with the bladed instrument, leaving the victim with cuts to his hands and elbow that needed stitches at Lutheran Medical Center.
Purse grab
A gun-toting goon made off with a woman’s purse on Aug. 25 during a chilling exchange at the corner of Third Avenue and 73rd Street.
The 33-year-old victim was on the corner at 1 am when she realized that the stranger was creeping up behind her. Seconds later, the thug jammed a hard object — possibly a gun — into her back and demanded her purse.
He removed a cellphone and a set of keys from the woman’s bag before ditching it on Third Avenue, cops were told.
Office raid
Thieves crept into an office in the back of a 13th Avenue music and DJ studio on Aug. 25, taking a computer and a Wii video game system.
A manager at Trio Production between Bay Ridge Avenue and 70th Street said the items were removed from the back office sometime before noon, although he admitted to police that several people had access to the room.
Starbucks snake
A sticky-fingered fiend snaked his hand inside a woman’s handbag on Aug. 25 as she waited on line in an 86th Street Starbucks.
The victim said she was just about to order her hot beverage inside the store between Fort Hamilton Parkway and Gatling Place at 1 pm when she noticed that her wallet, and the $80 inside, were missing.
