At one time, a number of privately-owned bus, train, and trolley companies were responsible for getting you across this great metropolis. Today, there’s only one agency to blame for the weekend’s spotty train service: the Metropolitan Transportation Authority. Remember that this weekend when you can’t reach your destination.
All changes are from Saturday, April 21 at 12:01 am to Monday, April 23 at 5 am unless otherwise noted:
3: Service is extended to the New Lots Avenue station.
4: No trains between Manhattan and New Lots Avenue. Take the 3, N, Q, or R trains.
A: Trains run via the F line from Manhattan to Jay Street-MetroTech.
C: Brooklyn-bound trains run via the F line from Manhattan to Jay Street-MetroTech from 6:30 am to midnight on Saturday and Sunday.
F:Manhattan-bound trains run via the A line from Jay Street-MetroTech to West Fourth Street in Manhattan.
G: No trains between Queens and Bedford-Nostrand Avenue from 11 pm Friday to midnight on Saturday.
N: Coney Island-bound trains run via the D line from 36th Street to Stillwell Avenue.
Q: Trains between Brighton Beach and Stillwell Avenue run every 16 minutes from 7 am to 6 pm on Saturday and Sunday. Coney Island-bound trains run express from Prospect Park to Brighton Beach, from 11:30 pm on Friday to 5 am Monday. Transfer to a Manhattan-bound train.
